Establishing a Feeding Schedule For a Toddler and Let Them get Messy

Developing a an Eating Schedule can help make a Food Journey Successful.  It will help to create a hunger cycle and it  allows children to enjoy and experience food.  It is okay when your child is messy this is when they are experiencing the food such as taste, temperatures and textures.  

Here is an example of a schedule that may work for children typically 9 months to 15 months.  They spend twenty minutes enjoying a meal and ten minutes for a snack.  The time span between meals and snacks is two and half hours.

Morning: Breakfast -Eating Time

Developing Time of 2 1/2 hours

Morning Snack:

Developing Time of 2 1/2 hours

Lunch- Eating Time:

Developing Time of 2 1/2 hours

Afternoon Snack:

Developing time of 2 1/2 hours

Dinner Eating Time
